Overview

This policy covers gallantlabs.dev — the website. It does not cover the ALTE app, which has its own privacy policy.

The short version: this site uses Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic (see below), and otherwise collects only what you choose to submit through the contact or feedback forms. There is no advertising, and nothing you submit is ever sold.

What we collect

If you submit the contact or feedback form, the following information is collected:

  • Your name (contact form only)
  • Your email address, if provided
  • The message or feedback you write
  • The feedback type and app selected (feedback form only)

This information is submitted directly to Formspree and forwarded to Gallant Labs by email. It is used only to respond to your message.

Formspree

Form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service. Formspree receives the data you submit and sends it to Gallant Labs by email. Their handling of that data is governed by the Formspree Privacy Policy.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it — for example, which pages are viewed, how long visits last, general location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and which site referred you here. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to collect this information and sends it to Google for processing.

This data is used only to understand and improve the site — never to identify you personally or to serve you ads. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser's privacy settings.

California residents: sending data to Google Analytics may be considered “sharing” of personal information with a third party under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you'd like to ask a question about this or exercise your rights under the CCPA, send a message.

Local storage

This site saves your dark or light mode preference to your browser's local storage so it persists between visits. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to Gallant Labs or any third party.

What we don't do

  • No advertising or ad networks
  • No cookies beyond what Formspree and Google Analytics may set
  • No sale of anything you submit through the contact or feedback forms

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the “last updated” date will be revised.
