Gallant Labs
Track workouts, nutrition, and progress — all in one place. Built around your patterns, not someone else's program.
Free for 7 days. No account, no card.
Everything in ALTE is unlocked for the preview, with nothing to cancel. After that, ALTE Pro keeps you logging, monthly or annual, with a free trial. And if you stop, nothing disappears: everything you've logged stays readable and exportable.
What's inside ALTE
- AI food logging — snap a photo or describe a meal in plain language; AI estimates the nutrition and creates the entries
- Workout logging — cardio, strength, and class/flexibility with sets, reps, weight, RPE, a rest timer, calorie estimates, and automatic PR detection
- Meal planner with barcode scanner, macro tracking, and meal photos
- Recipes — build from ingredients with automatic per-serving macros, then log like any food
- Nutrition databases — FatSecret, Open Food Facts barcodes, Health Canada (CNF), and your own custom foods
- Planning Mode — schedule workouts and meals in advance, confirm with actuals
- Templates — save and reload reusable workout routines and meal compositions
- Day tagging — 12 built-in tags plus unlimited custom tags with icons and colours
- Intermittent fasting — start a fast from your iPhone or Apple Watch and keep the timer on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, and on your watch face; pick a common schedule or set your own eating window for each day of the week, and logging a meal mid-fast offers to end the fast at that time
- Insights — ALTE checks your numbers against your own targets, works out which way each metric is moving and how much to trust it, and surfaces what tends to go together; your top findings come first, the rest are a tap away
- Tag Insights — compare workout minutes, calories, and sleep on tagged days vs. baseline, in a heatmap
- Sleep tracking — Apple Health + manual logging with quality ratings (moon phases)
- Water tracking with Apple Health sync and quick-add presets
- Supplements — log daily doses with optional per-dose reminders, plus adherence and streaks in Progress
- Smart reminders — workouts, meals, water, and supplements; water reminders fixed-time or interval-based
- Progress — weight log with goal and trend chart, body measurements with BMI, and categorized progress photos
- Rest Mode — auto-tags days as rest and preserves your streak for vacations or off-cycles
- Apple Watch companion — today's rings, live workout metrics, water quick-add, and complications
- Home and lock screen widgets
- iCloud sync via CloudKit
- Daily backup to your own iCloud Drive, with merge-restore
- HealthKit read/write for workouts, nutrition, sleep, weight, and water
- English and French (Canada)
Your data, your device
Your data lives on your device and in your own private iCloud. There's no ALTE account to create, and I can't see what you log.
Full data export. Take everything with you, anytime — a CSV bundle of your workouts, meals, sleep, water, weight, measurements, tags, and supplements, optionally with your progress-photo images. Your data is yours, not locked inside the app.
Daily backup. Once a day ALTE saves a copy of everything you've logged to your own iCloud Drive, so you can put it back if you reset the app, lose a device, or delete something by accident. Apple Health can return your weight and workouts; it can't return your recipes, custom foods, or templates. This can. Restoring adds back what's missing and leaves whatever is already there untouched.
Yours if you stop. If your preview ends or your subscription lapses, nothing is locked away. Everything you've logged stays visible, searchable, and exportable; you just can't add new entries until you subscribe.
Privacy lock. Keep the app behind an optional passcode with Face ID or Touch ID.
